Here I used the vignette which blacks out/blurs the edges so that the focus is on the couple. It also makes it seem more memory like.

The clip above cross dissolves into this clip which is the clip of the boyfriend alone. So therefore I used colour corrector so that it was black and white so he looks lonely.
